Yesterday I brought Eric to the airport and 19 hours later he called me from our appartement in Pune! I was wondering, while driving to the airport, how I would have felt if, today, as planned, I would also leave Belgium... Yes, indeed, after three weeks, plans are changed! I will not catch the plane tonight at 19h15... I will catch it on the 14th of June (NO NO, no problems!!! I'm still going haha!).Instead of beeing together, the two of us, back in our nice little place in Pune, he has to go to Delhi for three weeks. And since half of the expat-population is away for the moment (or is going away in a few days), I tought it would be nicer to stay here with my family and friends, instead of beeing alone in Pune (I must admit, it was a real difficult decision! Don't like to be so far away from Eric (yeah yeah, sissssyyyyy))!
So, Eric arrived well in the middle of the night (even at midnight there is a traffic jam in Mumbai! Joy!) and today Zaqir came back on duty, right on time (fffffew!)! I'm sure he will be thrilled when Eric will tell him that he has three more weeks of holiday héhé!
Normally Eric would have left Pune on monday to go to Delhi, but of course, plans have been changed already, and he will only be leaving on wednesday! (If it's going to change a lot, I will be back and at that time he will still have to leave... watch my words!!).
I will fly on the 14th of june, arriving in Pune on the 15th and leaving for Delhi on the 16th... Ok, that's the plan of course... We will see if E&Y will stick to the plan haha! While writing this, I'm feeling like a little princess, going from one holiday into another!
